Situations where the Clinic management, after internal clinical review and quality assessment, determines at its sole discretion that a partial or full refund may be appropriate based on the facts and circumstances of the case.
Patients acknowledge that dental treatment outcomes depend upon multiple biological, medical, anatomical, behavioral, and procedural factors including oral hygiene maintenance, healing response, bone condition, systemic health, smoking habits, compliance with instructions, and disease progression. Therefore, dissatisfaction alone shall not automatically qualify a patient for refund eligibility.
Approved refunds may be processed through one of the following methods:
Direct transfer to the patient’s registered bank account or original payment source;
Credit adjustment within Horizon Dental Clinic for future treatment of the patient or an immediate family member, subject to validity and Clinic approval.
The Clinic reserves the right to determine the appropriate refund mode depending upon the treatment status, payment method, financial policies, and operational considerations.
Refund requests shall only be considered if:
A written request is submitted by the patient with proper reasons, supporting records, and treatment details;
The request is initiated within 6 (six) months from the date of treatment or payment;
The patient cooperates with the review process and submits all required records, bills, reports, radiographs, photographs, receipts, and treatment-related documents requested by the Clinic.
Where applicable, the patient shall return all delivered dental products, prostheses, appliances, crowns, dentures, aligners, retainers, implant components, orthodontic appliances, or other treatment-related materials to the Clinic before processing any refund request. Failure to return such items may render the patient ineligible for refund consideration.
The standard refund review and processing period may require approximately 30 (thirty) to 45 (forty-five) working days depending upon the complexity of the case, laboratory involvement, banking procedures, or third-party vendor coordination.
The following charges shall generally remain non-refundable and may be deducted from any approved refund amount:
Consultation charges;
Emergency consultation fees;
Diagnostic and radiographic charges;
Treatment planning fees;
Digital scan charges;
Laboratory and fabrication charges;
Membership or package registration fees;
Consumables and sterilization charges;
Charges for treatment already performed or partially completed.
Fabrication charges incurred for crowns, bridges, dentures, aligners, implant prosthesis, retainers, surgical guides, orthodontic appliances, or custom-made prosthetic work shall not be refundable once laboratory procedures have commenced.
Refund claims shall not be entertained under circumstances including, but not limited to:
Treatment has already started, partially completed, or clinically initiated;
Dental materials, aligners, crowns, implant components, orthodontic brackets, or prostheses have already been ordered or fabricated;
The patient fails to attend appointments regularly or discontinues treatment for prolonged periods resulting in change of fit, oral condition deterioration, or treatment complications;
More than 6 (six) months have passed since treatment completion;
The patient obtains treatment, adjustment, repair, or intervention from another clinic or practitioner without authorization from Horizon Dental Clinic;
The patient fails to follow oral hygiene instructions, medication protocols, dietary restrictions, post-operative instructions, or follow-up schedules advised by the treating doctor;
Delay or interruption occurs due to force majeure events, natural disasters, public emergencies, supply chain disruption, medical emergencies, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Clinic;
Treatment has been booked under special finance schemes, promotional offers, discounted packages, blocked offers, or EMI-based arrangements;
The patient remains absent from treatment for an extended continuous period after treatment commencement.
The Clinic reserves the absolute and final right to evaluate the eligibility of every refund request on a case-by-case basis considering clinical findings, patient compliance, records, treatment stage, laboratory involvement, and operational factors. The decision of Horizon Dental Clinic management shall be final and binding.
In applicable cases, the following administrative and operational deductions may apply in addition to other treatment-related deductions:
Cancellation of aligner treatment: ₹10,000;
Cancellation of implant or orthodontic treatment: ₹5,000;
Cancellation of any other treatment: ₹3,000.
Such deductions may vary depending upon laboratory expenses, vendor charges, treatment progress, digital workflow involvement, or customized product fabrication already initiated by the Clinic.
Wherever specifically mentioned or provided in writing, limited warranty coverage may apply only for manufacturing defects, breakage, or chipping of selected prosthetic products such as crowns, implant crowns, or dentures.
Such warranty:
Shall be limited to one-time repair or replacement only;
Shall apply only upon physical return and inspection of the original prosthesis;
Shall not cover root canal treatment, implant failure, tooth fracture, tooth pain, biological complications, gum disease, trauma, bite-related issues, oral hygiene neglect, accidental damage, or failure caused by patient habits;
Shall become fully exhausted after one repair or replacement event.
If the prosthesis, crown, aligner, or appliance is lost, damaged beyond repair, or not returned, fresh fabrication charges shall apply.
If the patient chooses EMI, loan, installment, or financing facilities provided through banks or financial institutions, all agreements, disputes, interest liabilities, late payment charges, penalties, refunds, cancellations, or repayment obligations shall remain solely between the patient and the concerned financial institution.
Horizon Dental Clinic shall not be responsible for disputes relating to EMI cancellation, interest charges, missed installments, loan penalties, or financial liabilities imposed by banks or finance partners.
The patient acknowledges that:
Any EMI facility is selected voluntarily at the patient’s own request;
Interest or charges arising due to premature cancellation of EMI arrangements shall be borne solely by the patient;
Horizon Dental Clinic shall not be liable for disputes between the patient and the financing institution under any circumstances.
Horizon Dental Clinic is committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care, ethical dental practice, patient safety, and evidence-based treatment protocols through qualified dental professionals and modern treatment systems. However, patients acknowledge and understand that dental treatment outcomes may vary depending upon biological response, oral hygiene, bone quality, systemic health, healing capacity, compliance with instructions, habits such as smoking or bruxism, and other patient-specific or medical factors beyond the reasonable control of the Clinic.
In selected situations, Horizon Dental Clinic may, at its sole clinical and administrative discretion, consider re-treatment, corrective treatment, repair, adjustment, or alternative treatment options subject to the conditions mentioned below.
Re-treatment may be considered on a priority basis within 6 (six) months from the original treatment date unless specifically stated otherwise in writing by the Clinic.
Re-treatment consideration may apply in situations including:
Loss or dislodgement of filling material;
Cementation failure of crowns, bridges, veneers, or prosthesis;
Breakage of dental appliances or prosthetic components;
Minor adjustment requirements following treatment;
Situations where treatment outcome requires clinical correction as determined by the treating dentist.
Where a patient expresses dissatisfaction regarding treatment results, Horizon Dental Clinic may evaluate the case for possible re-treatment only if:
The patient attended scheduled appointments and follow-up visits regularly;
The patient complied with all post-operative instructions, oral hygiene protocols, medication guidelines, and dietary restrictions;
The patient did not engage in actions contrary to medical advice that may have contributed to treatment complications or failure.
If the need for corrective treatment arises due to non-compliance, missed appointments, poor oral hygiene, smoking, trauma, or failure to follow medical instructions, the cost of additional treatment shall be borne entirely by the patient.
In cases where treatment is clinically determined by Horizon Dental Clinic to have failed despite appropriate patient compliance, the Clinic may, at its discretion:
Undertake re-treatment;
Offer alternate treatment options;
Provide partial corrective procedures;
Recommend referral or additional investigations.
Such decisions shall be based upon clinical evaluation, radiographic findings, medical assessment, patient history, and professional judgment of the treating doctor and Clinic management.
Patients shall not qualify for re-treatment benefits if treatment, modification, repair, adjustment, or intervention has been undertaken by another dental clinic, dentist, laboratory, or healthcare provider without prior written approval from Horizon Dental Clinic.
Patients undergoing orthodontic, braces, aligner, or tooth movement-related treatment shall qualify for re-treatment consideration only if:
The request is made within 1 (one) year from completion of treatment;
The patient attended scheduled appointments and review visits regularly;
Retainers, aligners, elastics, appliances, or supportive devices were used exactly as instructed;
Breakages, discomfort, appliance issues, or complications were immediately reported to the Clinic;
There was no prolonged interruption or unnecessary delay in treatment continuation.
Relapse, shifting of teeth, prolonged treatment duration, bite changes, or treatment instability arising due to patient negligence, non-compliance, loss of retainers, or delayed visits shall not be covered under the re-treatment policy.
Patients undergoing dental implant procedures may qualify for re-treatment consideration only if:
The request is made within 1 (one) year from completion of implant treatment;
The patient completed all implant-related treatment phases and attended scheduled surgical and prosthetic appointments;
Post-operative instructions, oral hygiene protocols, medication schedules, and dietary restrictions were followed;
The patient maintained acceptable systemic health parameters including blood sugar control, calcium levels, Vitamin D levels, and other medically relevant parameters;
The patient abstained from smoking, tobacco, alcohol abuse, or other habits affecting implant healing;
Patients with diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, or other systemic conditions attended regular follow-up visits and submitted relevant medical reports as advised.
Implant complications arising due to uncontrolled systemic disease, smoking, trauma, poor oral hygiene, bone loss, missed follow-up visits, parafunctional habits, or non-compliance shall not automatically qualify for free re-treatment.
If a patient relocates to another city or country during the course of treatment, Horizon Dental Clinic may attempt to continue or coordinate treatment based upon practical feasibility, clinical assessment, and management approval on a case-by-case basis.
However:
Availability of specialist services may vary by location;
External specialist consultation or travel-related charges may be borne by the patient;
Treatment continuity cannot be guaranteed outside the operational scope of the Clinic;
No refund shall be admissible solely because of relocation, migration, transfer, or inability of the patient to continue treatment at the Clinic.
All re-treatment requests shall remain subject to detailed clinical review, radiographic evaluation, medical assessment, diagnostic investigation, and professional judgment by Horizon Dental Clinic.
The Clinic reserves the right to require:
Updated medical investigations;
Blood reports;
Radiographs or CBCT scans;
Specialist consultations;
Diagnostic photographs;
Additional clinical evaluation.
Based upon such assessment, the Clinic may determine whether:
Re-treatment is clinically appropriate;
A different treatment approach is required;
Further treatment is not advisable;
Additional charges are applicable;
The case does not qualify for re-treatment coverage.

Any treatment tracking feature, aligner wear-time logging system, appointment tracker, reminder notification, treatment progress record, symptom reporting tool, or digital monitoring functionality provided by Horizon Dental Clinic is intended solely for supportive, informational, and convenience purposes and shall not replace professional clinical examination, diagnosis, or direct consultation with the treating dentist.
Where patients are provided with the ability to log aligner wear timing, treatment compliance, oral hygiene status, pain levels, medication use, or other treatment-related data, the patient acknowledges and agrees that:
Such entries are self-reported by the patient;
Horizon Dental Clinic cannot independently verify the accuracy, consistency, authenticity, completeness, or reliability of such information;
